More than 700 million people, or 10 per cent of the world population, still live in extreme poverty today, struggling to fulfill the most basic needs like health, education, and access to water and sanitation, to name a few. The majority of people living on less than $1.90 a day live in sub-Saharan Africa. Worldwide, the poverty rate in rural areas is 17.2 per cent—more than three times higher than in urban areas.

World Feed The Poor Day & Award Night 2022 will be a landmark event for us. This is our inaugural event that will set the pace for this unique event aimed at changing lives across the globe. We are starting small but aiming at making it become the biggest event in a few years to come. Poverty hurts but we are celebrating with fun having full assurance that lives will be enriched by God’s grace through our collective collaborative efforts.
Due to COVID-19 and following CDC guideline concerning holding in-person event, we propose to hold this year's World Feed The Poor Day Inaugural Event Virtual while we conduct outreach through visitations to strategic places to meet those in needs like poor communities, hospitals etc.
